Wove interesting stories about himself that eventually caught up with him, though I think it was a little fiddling with expense accounts that got him fired. Nice guy, but we gradually discovered the fantasies, and when you do, you resent being fooled.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I wrote an article on my blog at the end of last year pointing out that not only did Obama create a &quot;composite&quot; girlfriend for his memoirs, but he created a new image for himself as well.  He used two fictional characters that merged and became the President we all admire so much.  One of these was the character of the con artist in &quot;The Music Man&quot;, Professor Harold Hill.  The other?  Why none other than Bart Simpson who so famously said:  “I didn’t do it, nobody saw me do it, there’s no way you can prove anything!”
