Democrat Vote Fraud Triple Play by American Elephant

Welcome Michelle Malkin readers! We hope while you’re here, you’ll
take a moment and have a look around and tell us what you think.

We’re very familiar with Barack Obama’s ACORN here in Washington state. Members of that organization were indicted on felony charges for the largest case of voter registration fraud in state history. ACORN workers have been convicted in numerous other states too. (Remember, this is the same ACORN to which the Obama campaign was caught hiding an $800,000 payment, the same ACORN that for decades has been pushing lenders to dole out the very kind of high risk loans that got us where we are today, and the same ACORN which Democrats have long subsidized with your tax dollars).

And the very same ACORN which, yet again, has been raided in yet another voter fraud probe.

LAS VEGAS (AP) – Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote. A Nevada secretary of state’s office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN. In related news, Obama supporters in battleground Ohio are ferrying the homeless, drug addicts, and who knows who else to polls where Ohio law allows them to register to vote and cast a ballot at the same time, with no proof of residency required.

CLEVELAND – Volunteers supporting Barack Obama picked up hundreds of people at homeless shelters, soup kitchens and drug-rehab centers and drove them to a polling place yesterday on the last day that Ohioans could register and vote on the same day, almost no questions asked.

The huge effort by a pro-Obama group, Vote Today Ohio, takes advantage of a quirk in the state’s elections laws that allows people to register and cast ballots at the same time without having to prove residency.

Republicans have argued that the window could lead to widespread voter fraud because officials wouldn’t have an opportunity to verify registration information before ballots were cast. [read more]

That’s what Democrats count on. “Count every vote,” they say. Whether or not the vote is legitimate is not something they are particularly concerned with.

And lastly, news out of Connecticut that 8,500 dead people remain registered to vote in that state; where at least 300 appear to have voted since meeting their demise.

State officials blamed “clerical errors” for the 300 discrepancies uncovered by the students in April and say the ensuing review has found no evidence of fraud.

No, you didn’t read that wrong. Dead people are voting, and election officials, who just happen to be Democrats, see no evidence of fraud.

“While we want to remove dead people from the rolls, we don’t want to be overzealous and disenfranchise people,” Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz told the Courant. [read more]

When Barack Obama recently said, “John McCain has no idea what he’s up against,” he really wasn’t kidding.

Now we know what “community organizers” do.

UPDATE: Laugh in the face of the dead — and their ballots! The “Dawn of the Democrats” design is now available on t-shirts, buttons and stickers, for men, women and kids in numerous styles and colors at our online store. And don’t worry, since its Democrats, its a shirt that you will be able to wear for many elections to come!

They are not “dead people” They are the “disenfranchised voters” and we must hear their voice. After all it is their sacred right to vote from beyond the grave. Just like hanging chads, the Dems surely know what was the intention of these disenfranchised voters! Just ask them!

Any Republican who pretends to make accusations of election fraud against anyone should be tared and feathered.

The psychological term is “projection”.

In 2006, ACORN workers were indicted in Missouri, Wisconsin, Ohio, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Washington State and Colorado. So far in 2008, fraud by ACORN has been reported in Michigan, Wisconsin (employing felons) Indiana, Connecticut (dead people voting), Nevada, Pennsylvania, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois.

I suppose you are referring to the 2000 election, where there was again vast fraud by Democrats who, since the election was very close and they lost, tried to claim that Republicans did something wrong. Didn’t happen. A consortium of newspapers, NYT, WaPo, and others–I can’t remember all of them but there were at least 5 — recounted the ballots several times and there was no scenario under which Al Gore could have won.

I’m partisan–that’s why this website is called American Elephants — but not so much so that I would tolerate voter fraud under any circumstance. I have never heard of a case of Republican voter fraud, and I’ve been around for a lot of elections.

Addendum: I forgot to mention ACORN fraud in Florida, North Carolina and New Mexico. We are learning of the fraudulent voter registration cards that have been caught by officials, but is that only the tip of the iceberg? It seems that our nation is facing a concerted effort to subvert the election.

Batguano,

Your name is entirely appropriate, because that is what your statement is — bat poop. Democrats are the ones who project — which is why Democrats all over the country were arrested and found guilty of vote fraud and no republicans were. Al Gore tried to steal the election, the Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that what he was trying to do was unconstitutional. Get over it. You lost DESPITE your best efforts to steal it.

American Elephant-

Anyone who says no to violating the law and constitution is a democrat for you.

I’m an independent.

That twisting partisanship above the law and constitution is wrong, bad for both parties, and an attack on the fundamental function of government in the USA.

The election fraud used by republicans is wrong.

Your political party is not more important than the law or constitution.

Both parties are totally corrupt, both have sold out our constitution, lawful government, and out nation for “power” and “personal gain”.

The fact you do not believe anything your party does is wrong as long as you grab power, is the decay of the USA.

The nation is worth more than partisanship carried to lawlessness and flagrant corruption.

Batguano,

I’m sorry, youre just plain wrong.

Party is certainly not more important to me than the Constitution or the law — thats part of why I am a Republican, because, unlike Democrats, Republicans hold their representatives and party members accountable. The idea that “everyone is equally guilty” is intellectually lazy and ignorant.

When a Republican does something illegal, we force them to step down or vote them out of office. When a Democrat does something illegal, they circle the wagons around that person, defend them, re-elect them and promote them. Republicans are the only party that has rules that require any leader who gets involved in an ethical or legal problem to step down from their leadership position — Democrats have no such rule. Indeed, they used Republicans rule against them by having a partisan hack prosecutor bring bogus charges against Tom Delay. Delay stepped down despite the charges being thrown out of court.

And so you have a Democrat party where William Jefferson still sits in congress despite having stolen 90,000 from the taxpayers and abusing his power to save his own home during hurricane Katrina, where Jim Johnson and Frank Raines advise Barack Obama despite committing fraud 10 times worse than anything Enron did, where Barney Frank ran a prostitution ring out of his own basement, but still sits in congress, and still has a leadership postition. Where Sandy Berger who stole top secret documents and destroyed them to prevent americans from learning the truth about that administrations negligence, and he advises Democrats to this day. And on and on and on…

You claim that Republicans commit vote fraud, but you cant name any. Yet I can name a whole laundry list of Democrats being convicted by courts for vote fraud and you think both sides are equally corrupt.

Your arguments are simply not supported by the facts.

Everyone is not equally guilty, but each party has sold out the USA, and that at the direction and arm twisting of the current administration.

Election or no election the corruption is out of control, is altering our fundamental form of government- not for the better.

Even in your answer, you have zero reflection on the best for the nation, only what is wrong with the democrats- apply a critical view to both Republicans and Democrats today.

Rome is burning.

Ranting of the evils of one party, when your own party set the fire is denial.

I am for the US Constitution and Lawful government.

Your party in power is not more important than lawful government.
After 8 years of Bush we no longer have lawful government in either party.

No one on earth trusts the USA, US banking, our word, our values, our honor. We are bankrupt in debt to other nations and bankrupt morally.

Rome is burning.

Americans have always rose to the occasion: hurricanes, earthquakes, depression, wars.

We the people WILL rise to the occasion now.
Step up to the plate with good men and women.
To hell with the partisan lust for power.

Batguano,

Your comments are so general and simplistic, they are hardly worth replying to. You have lots of asinine generalizations and accusations and zero specifics.

The best interest of the country is making sure we have fair and legal elections and that fraud is uncovered and punished.

This article points out several instances of large scale vote fraud that is documented, and yet you don’t seem to care about that whatsoever, you got your panties in a bunch that we dare criticize the party who is perpetrating the vote fraud, and have been ranting incoherently about Republicans and Bush ever since, without a scrap of evidence to back up your childish cliches and hyperbole. Which tells everyone that it is YOU who puts ideology before country, not us.

American Elephant and BatGuano-

I appreciate this back and forth between you two. While i’m a registered independent voter who, depending on the person and teh office will vote in people from all kinds of parties, I am definitively conservative. For all the country’s problems, myriad politicians from all sides of the aisle can be blamed quite clearly and with full logic.

That being said, BatGuano, your very first comment on this thread shows a hint of disingenuousness. To say that any republican will “pretend to make accusations of voter fraud” is utterly ridiculous. First off, there was no pretending involved in the accusations. They weren’t throwing it out there like a pile of guano hoping it stuck to a wall. They had evidence and made their acusations based on that, which was and is being confirmed by courts. The term “projection” in the psychological sense would be seen as someone projecting their own faults onto someone else. While damn near all politicians have their faults, and I agree that many of them ought to be tarred and feathered, your use of the term “projection” in conjunction with your claim is misguided at best, and blatantly and intellectually dishonest at worst. Having a mind riddled with A.D.D. tendencies, I’ll try to remain open that you suffered from the former as opposed to the latter.

The entire POINT OF THE POST, is to show the widespread and massive fraud going on, tied into one organization’s efforts alone. You can get riled up about one party or both parties all you want, but general courtesy of the blog world would see that you remain on relevant points in the commentary. Speaking your understanding of the truth that lies outside the boundaries of relevancy should be contained to your own blog. Had it been in the form of email, I believe most of us call it “spamming”.

Sorry Will, but I had to put in my two cents. (which reminds me…it was my last 2 cents…you got a quarter so I can get a cup of coffe?)
