Another Glimpse Into the Mind of the Left! by The Elephant's Child

Representative Phil Hare (D-Ill) is concerned about all those folks dying in the streets because they don’t have health insurance.  Rep. Hare finds those people a much greater concern than the Constitution of the United States, even though they don’t exist. There is no one in the United States that goes without medical care, including illegals, poor people or the homeless.

The Constitution has served us well for 223 years, the oldest and most envied Constitution in the world, but too many of our legislators cannot be bothered to become familiar with it and ponder its meaning.

Do you suppose he really believes that people are dying because they are uninsured?  Do they absorb their talking points to such an extent that they believe them?  They keep giving us these marvelous glimpses of the Progressive mind.  Sad.  Really sad!

He’s got that personal sob story thing going.

And at 1:04 confuses The Declaration of
Independence with the Constitution.

And he is a blowhard.

He’s lying. He’s an Illinois Democrat which means he cares very greatly about his Miranda rights. They were probably read to him at his swearing in ceremony.

And this is why the Republicans want a FEDERAL solution on tort reform.I thought the constitution had served us well for the past 223 years. I thought our Founding Fathers were the smartest group of individuals around but one would never know the way the Republicans are behaving by wanting a FEDERAL cap on a free market enterprise at the STATE level. Clowns to the left of me jokers to my right… Cognitive dissonance is a wonderful thing.

Republicans know that tort reform would reduce the cost of medical care. I don’t think they’ve given much thought to how to legislate it. And it is clearly a state issue. I would suggest (not that anyone would ask me) taking the studies and successes of reform to the governors conference and supplying the states with a good packet of information. Not everything needs to be accomplished by mandates, and most states are anxiously looking for ways to save money.
