Note: even some of the SUVs and other four-wheel-drive vehicles were having trouble getting a grip. So much for one of the arguments for owning such vehicles! The only thing that works on ice is chains.

Strange, I’ve never heard anyone claim that SUV’s work on ice. Only that they are better in the snow. And they are, if you drive them with the same caution. Happy Thanksgiving, Subsidy.
