Washington State is a very blue state, especially on the left coast. Across the mountains, it is more sparsely populated, more conservative and more interesting. So elections are heavily weighted towards Seattle and surrounding cities. McKenna, an outstanding and popular Attorney General, is running against Jay Inslee, a congressman noted for nothing in general, who may or may not have something to recommend him. I don’t know of any accomplishments, but he might have some.
We certainly need an improvement.
Polls show a close race, but anyone who remembers Dino Rossi knows Washington State Democrats steal elections. However, they can’t steal it if it isn’t close. Donate to Rob McKenna here, and make sure Dems don’t steal this election too.
