If I had to pick a favorite song, this would be it.

Trivia #1: the song was inspired by a bus trip Mark Knopfler took that went along Telegraph Road in Detroit.

Trivia #2: this is the song Douglas Adams is referring to in the book “So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish” when Around and Fenchurch are (ahem) getting acquainted.
