If you remember, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai received death threats and threats to his family over dumping “net neutrality” which intensified after the FCC voted to repeal it. A 33 year-old Norwalk, California man was arrested. The affidavit reads:
Man is being charged with threatening to murder a family member of an acting US official with the intent of interfering with said official’s job performance and duties, or threatening to retaliative against a US official for their specific job performance. The charge carries a maximum of 10 years in prison.
You have to wonder what all the protestors, let alone this one, could have been thinking. What did they think the FCC was doing?
