There is no climate crisis. The climate of the earth is controlled by the action of the sun, and our sun is just fine. Carbon dioxide is not poisonous, it is plant food. Nurseries pump some extra CO2 into their greenhouses to make their plants grow lush and strong. The slight increase of CO2 in the atmosphere is causing bountiful crops all over the world, and feeding hungry people. Australia has written up their successful crops this year for the international press. Even Afghanistan is reporting excellent crop yields, in the midst of their wars.
Consult regularly; Climate Depot, Watt’s Up With That, Master Resource and Dr. Roy Spencer. Dr.Spencer flies the satellites for NASA that measure the temperatures of the world’s atmosphere and Dr, John Christy, also at Huntsville, measures with weather balloons. If you visit those few websites daily or regularly, you will have a pretty good idea of what is going on, without the hysteria of the activists. All are interesting, and highly informative.
You don’t think anyone is going to admit that there is no climate crisis when they get to jet off to exciting big climate conferences in Scotland, on somebody else’s dollar, do you?
Greta Thunberg is an autistic Swedish child who latched onto climate activism without knowing much of anything about the climate. Activists welcome a passionate child activist to their cause. Means lots of press interest, and publicity. Her activism is enriching her parents, and giving her a real interest to combat the autism. She even got her portrait painted on the side of a building in San Francisco. I assume it’s still there. The ease with which the worldwide press is able to stir something up into a worldwide crisis is disturbing
