The sky is uniformly cloudy, with tinges of blue occasionally visible, but only tinges! To the far South-East, there are clear skies on the horizon, but I don’t know if that is increasing or decreasing. A clear sunny day would be most welcome. Unlikely though.Seattle is a moist city. lots of rain, occasional sunshine. If you want a tan, plan a trip to Hawaii, or even just Southern California. The influence of the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains is strong here.
The Cascade range extends down the interior of Washington, Oregon and California into Mexico, dividing the states from coast to mountains and farmland. Bright white sky far to the South East. the rest is a uniform gray with faint blue tinges here and there. Not a sky that promises anything better anytime soon, But at least it isn’t raining. If you don’t enjoy rainy days, do not move to Seattle.
