Finally — Proof of Death
There is finally conclusive evidence that Osama bin Laden and Muammar Gaddafi are dead.
Yesterday, they both registered as Democrats to vote in Chicago.

And they’re still very much open for business:
The radical activist group ACORN “works” for the Democratic Party and deliberately promotes election fraud, ACORN employees told FBI investigators, according to an FBI document dump Wednesday.
The documents obtained by Judicial Watch, a watchdog group, are FBI investigators’ reports related to the 2007 investigation and arrest of eight St. Louis, Mo., workers from ACORN’s Project Vote affiliate for violation of election laws. All eight employees involved in the scandal later pleaded guilty to voter registration fraud.
Project Vote is ACORN’s voter registration arm. Project Vote continues to operate despite the reported dissolution of the national structure of ACORN.
The handwritten reports by FBI agents show that ACORN employees reported numerous irregularities in the nonprofit group’s business practices.
One employee told the FBI that ACORN headquarters is “wkg [working] for the Democratic Party.”
According to one report, an ACORN employee said the purpose of “[f]raudulent cards” was “[t]o cause confusion on election day to keep polls open longer,” “[t]o allow people who can’t vote to vote,” and “[t]o allow to vote multiple times.” [Emphasis Mine. Read the whole thing]
And while the Democrat’s vote fraud operation continues unabated, the other arms of ACORN that were forced to disband are already opening their doors again under new names.
Naturally, the corrupt Attorney General, Eric Holder, still has no interest in investigating the vote-fraud arm of the Democrat party, and the shake-down artists who bear a great deal of responsibiligy for creating the very “toxic assets” that brought down the economy. The same group to which his boss, Obama has such long-standing ties.
I don’t trust Eric Holder to investigate this scandal, I think congress must appoint an independent investigator.

ACORN to file for bankruptcy?
The community organizing group Acorn, battered politically from the right and suffering from mismanagement along with a severe loss of government and other funds, is on the verge of filing for bankruptcy, officials of the group said Friday.
Unfortunately they will only reorganize under another name and come back twice as corrupt as before. But for now, congratulations to Andrew Breitbart and James O’Keefe for doing their job — something the corrupt media refuses to do.
UPDATE: Obama administration quietly orders government to resume funding ACORN, while Americans are distracted by health care battle.
Gee. You think the one has anything to do with t’other?

You will be delighted to know that ACORN and other left-wing advocacy groups may be eligible for up to $3.99 billion in federal funding included in the $3.83 trillion fiscal 2011 budget that President Obama unveiled yesterday.
All this money comes from a congressional slush-fund called the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, a part of the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) $48.5 billion fiscal 2011 budget. CDBG grants, which are awarded to states and localities, pass indirectly to ACORN.
BUT — Didn’t Congress pass a ban on funding the group and its affiliates just this last year?
Congress hinted that it might restore funding. On December 8, the House Appropriations Committee rejected, on a party-line vote of 9-5, an amendment that would have blocked federal funding of ACORN.
Then in December, Federal Judge Nina Gershon restored federal funding by issuing a temporary injunction against the congressional funding ban, ruling that depriving ACORN of taxpayer funds was an unconstitutional “bill of attainder” that singled out ACORN for punishment without trial. That injunction expired, but Acorn asked that the order be modified to cover 2010.
This is all up in the air, as both sides are filing motions and documents with the court, and the issue may not proceed to trial.
Steven Malanga of the Manhattan Institute calls CDBG “America’s worst urban program” pointing out that the money that the program has given to poor neighborhoods has had little impact, because nothing in the funding requires those who receive grants to show that they are actually improving anything. ACORN has been receiving funding under the Great Society-era program since at least 1996.

Clinton appointee rules it’s unconstitutional to stop subsidizing corrupt Democrat group.
The Chicago thugs in the White House signaled they have no intention of backing off their deeply corrupt relationship with the deeply corrupt ACORN. Indeed, they felt cocky enough to brazenly advertise their allegiance at the annual White House Christmas party. Republican lawmakers were shocked by the audacity.

I hope you have been following the ACORN drama as it unfolds. Following three incredible videos of an ACORN sting involving a young couple, posing as a prostitute and her pimp, who wanted to buy a house as a base from which to operate a business featuring 13 year-old hookers imported from El Salvador, the couple approached ACORN for help.
ACORN workers were completely helpful, instructing the couple in how to defraud the government, avoid getting caught, hide their income and how to disguise the 13 year-old whores as something legal.
The couple went to ACORN housing offices in Baltimore, Washington D.C. and New York, and now in San Bernardino, California. You can see all the videos at Big Government. The Census Bureau reacted quickly, and severed all ties with ACORN. The organization has a long record of being prosecuted for voter fraud, but had contracted to supply census workers for the 2010 census.
Now a pattern emerges of ACORN workers very willing to help people engage in prostitution, tax fraud, housing fraud, and human trafficking of children. The first video was of a meeting in ACORN’s Baltimore office on Thursday. ACORN promptly fired the workers, and claimed that these two reporters had tried and failed to carry out their sting in other offices.
The Senate voted to block HUD from giving grants to ACORN. House Republicans have called for a total cutoff of federal funds to ACORN. ACORN, in turn, has threatened to sue Fox News, and Hannah Giles and James O’Keefe — the reporters. They were threatened with prosecution in Maryland, but it turns out that ACORN cannot operate legally in the state of Maryland.
You would think that all this drama would make page one in most newspapers, or at least get a mention. Charles Gibson said in an interview on W AM Chicago’s “Don Wade & Roma Morning Show, that he didn’t even know about it.
British papers had no trouble picking up on the story. Oddly, the American media didn’t know anything about Green Jobs Czar Van Jones either. Being a professed radical communist, 9/11 truther is apparently no big deal for a figure in the administration.
NBC Reporter Chuck Todd said that “covering the Van Jones story was a waste of time” Jones, he said was just a minor character way down the pecking order in the administration and just wasn’t important. GatewayPundit notes that “Jones was in charge of doling out $80 billion to selected green projects.” I suppose that as taxpayer dollars are measured these days, $80 billion is no longer a big deal.
Does the media simply think that these things don’t matter? Do they not matter if the perpetrators are on the “correct” political side? Do they not matter because in both cases, there are close ties with President Obama? Is our media so politicized that they do not recognize their own mindset? Do they not recognize that this is rather closely related to declining subscriptions and lost journalism jobs? It is a puzzle.

One of the big sticking points in the debate over the financial bailout bill has been the Democrat attempt to include more funding for ACORN. ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) has been in the forefront of encouraging banks to make home loans to high-risk borrowers. Barack Obama was a community organizer with ACORN. Stanley Kurtz, a scholar and writer, is a senior fellow with the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington DC. He writes about Obama’s dangerous connections:
What exactly does a “community organizer” do? Barack Obama’s rise has left many Americans asking themselves that question. Here’s a big part of the answer: Community organizers intimidate banks into making high-risk loans to customers with poor credit.
In the name of fairness to minorities, community organizers occupy private offices, chant inside bank lobbies, and confront executives at their homes — and thereby force financial institutions to direct hundreds of millions of dollars in mortgages to low-credit customers.
In other words, community organizers help to undermine the US economy by pushing the banking system into a sinkhole of bad loans. And Obama has spent years training and funding the organizers who do it.
The seeds of today’s financial meltdown lie in the Community Reinvestment Act — a law passed in 1977 and made riskier by unwise amendments and regulatory rulings in later decades.
CRA was meant to encourage banks to make loans to high-risk borrowers, often minorities living in unstable neighborhoods. That has provided an opening to radical groups like ACORN to abuse the law by forcing banks to make hundreds of millions of dollars in “subprime” loans to often uncreditworthy poor and minority customers.
ACORN has been at the center of vote-tampering schemes in past elections. It drew national attention in 2004 when its get-out-the-vote activists were implicated in many reports of voter fraud, particularly in swing states like Ohio, Missouri, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Colorado Minnesota and Washington.
ACORN has worked closely with corrupt labor unions and its tactics resemble those of labor racketeers. An unusually large number of its critics describe the organization as a cult, demanding fanatical devotion from members, while exploiting their good will. ACORN actually sued California in 1995, arguing that ACORN should be exempted from state minimum-wage laws. Which seems particularly crass since ACORN’s mission is to enact “living wage ” ordinances. Discover the Networks has an excellent run-down on ACORN activities and agendas.
Stanley Kurtz goes on to describe Obama’s worrisome connection to ACORN:
It would be tough to find an “on the ground” community organizer more closely tied to the subprime-mortgage fiasco than Madeline Talbott. And no one has been more supportive of Madeline Talbott than Barack Obama….
In those years , he also conducted leadership-training seminars for ACORN’s up-and-coming organizers. That is, Obama was training the army of ACORN organizers who participated in Madeline Talbott’s drive against Chicago’s banks.
More than that, Obama was funding them. As he rose to a leadership role at Chicago’s Woods Fund, he became the most powerful voice on the foundation’s board for supporting ACORN and other community organizers. In 1995, the Woods Fund substantially expanded its funding of community organizers — and Obama chaired the committee that urged and managed the shift…
The Woods Fund report makes it clear Obama was fully aware of the intimidation tactics used by ACORN’s Madeline Talbott in her pioneering efforts to force banks to suspend their usual credit standards. Yet he supported Talbott in every conceivable way. He trained her personal staff and other aspiring ACORN leaders, he consulted with her extensively, and he arranged a major boost in foundation funding for her efforts….
In short to understand the roots of the subprime-mortgage crisis, look to ACORN’s Madeline Talbott. And to see how Talbott was able to work her mischief, look to Barack Obama.
To find out what community organizers really do, read the whole thing. It will show you why it would be beyond the pale for a federally funded bailout for this mortgage crisis to include funding for the group that contributed so much to creating the crisis.
