This post was a list of layoffs announced by American business. The law requires that businesses give their employees and the public notice in advance. Going to be a rotten Christmas for a lot of people. Obama has told the Defense Contractors who are going to be affected by the sequestration bil,l if that is not set aside, that they should not announce their layoffs. It might have affected his election. This is, of course, breaking the law, but Obama will use taxpayer money to pay their fines, and I suppose attorney fees as well.

I have been updating the list of layoffs regularly, and you can find the list here. Remember that these are layoffs that will take place around the first of the year, they haven’t yet. I don’t know whether it’s better to know, or to sleep well. I’m always on the side of knowledge.
