Thanks for the link Ace! Welcome Morons!
Even though it’s a commercial for an entirely unrelated product, the visual seems deliciously appropriate. (Plus, it has a good beat and I can dance to it!)
But while everyone is talking about how big Republican victories are going to be, ASSUME NOTHING! Especially if you are in what is usually considered a “blue state”. Reports show that Democrats in blue states are turning out to vote in large numbers, hoping to prevent big Republican gains. Our Washington State Secretary of State for example (one of the only statewide elected Republicans), is predicting record turnout, not just because Republicans are enthused, but because Democrats in this blue state want to be a firewall.
I imagine the same thing is going on in other blue states.
So no matter what you do, DO NOT FAIL to vote. Don’t assume it’s in the bag and that you can skip going to the polls or mailing your ballot in because you’re busy, or because it’s raining and you think your vote isn’t needed. it IS! Indeed, get on the phone and call your friends in blue states, and make sure they vote.
Cynical, crotchety skepticism is your friend!
Republicans not only need to win, but need to win by more than the margin of fraud. And Democrat election fraud is very real. Just ask Dino Rossi, who won the Washington State governor’s race in the first count, the second count, only to have it stolen from him by King County who kept “finding” (read: manufacturing) additional ballots until they had enough for the Democrat to “win”. Same thing happened with Norm Coleman and Al Franken.
Another sobering thought…every vote in states that vote by mail is first handled by unsupervised SEIU Union members before it ever gets to the precinct — postal workers. You know SEIU — Obama’s purple shirted thugs — the ones that have been beating, roughing up and intimidating conservative citizens from coast to coast. The group that has spent millions to elect Democrats. The group that is pushing to get RID of secret ballots in union negotiations so they can intimidate people into voting to unionize.
Makes me feel real safe about vote by mail!
IF you vote by mail, contact your county elections office to verify that your ballot was received and counted. (For example: King County, WA residents can track their ballots here.)
So, no, this election is NOT in the bag. VOTE and call everyone you know, especially your friends and family in states with close elections, and make sure they vote too.
BE the wave!

Best election video yet!
Four years ago, Democrats took control of both houses of Congress, promising massive new taxes, massive new regulation, and massive new spending.
Three years ago, Democrats’ “new direction” sank the United States and the World into the deepest recession since the great depression.
Two years ago, Democrats’ fascist banking policies caused the housing and financial crises.
Last year Democrats seized control over the healthcare industry, the auto industry, the financial industry, the college loan industry and threaten to seize control over virtually every other industry by pushing massive regulation on energy use.
This year, we are in the third year of a recession, unemployment is increasing, healthcare costs are skyrocketing even faster, and Democrats are promising more of the same.
“We Cannot Continue Down This Catastrophic Path!”
It’s not enough to vote. We have to contribute, volunteer, get out our friends and neighbors to the polls, and volunteer to poll watch, because Democrats are going to cheat like never before.
Make it viral!

More than half of the new jobs created in the past 12 months were in Texas.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 214,000 net new jobs were created in the United States from August 2009 to August 2010. Texas created 119,000 jobs during the same period. If every state in the country had performed as well, we’d have created about 1.5 million jobs nationally during the past year, and maybe “stimulus” wouldn’t be such a dirty word.
What does Austin know that Washington doesn’t? At its simplest: Don’t overtax and -spend, keep regulations to a minimum, avoid letting unions and trial lawyers run riot, and display an enormous neon sign saying, “Open for Business.”

FDR’s Great Depression, Jimmy Carter’s 1970’s malaise, and Obama’s never-ending Great Recession all have one thing in common — progressive Democrat policies.
Recessions happen. Recessions are a normal part of the business cycle; the natural ebb and flow of economic growth. Recessions, when the market is allowed to work, historically correct themselves fairly quickly — better still when the market is actually freed up.
Depressions, on the other hand, take work. Depressions take arrogance. Depressions take Democrats — the mind-boggling belief that government seizure, command and centralized control of millions of individual economic decisions will somehow foster and aid growth; that punishing economic activity with greater taxation and regulation will somehow encourage more of it; the inexplicable faith that what is most needed in times of economic stagnation is more bureaucracy.
A new study by UCLA economists, Harold L. Cole and Lee E. Ohanian, affirms what conservatives have long known — that FDR’s New Deal policies thwarted economic recovery for seven long years and turned what should have been a recession into the Great Depression:
“High wages and high prices in an economic slump run contrary to everything we know about market forces in economic downturns,” Ohanian said. “As we’ve seen in the past several years, salaries and prices fall when unemployment is high. By artificially inflating both, the New Deal policies short-circuited the market’s self-correcting forces.” [read more]
“Progressives” do not ease economic suffering — they cause it. They do not fix recessions, they cause depressions.
These are lessons that Americans can and should apply to our current endless recession. The reason the economy is not getting better is because the same people who caused it are still in control. Democrats did not inherit this recession — they’ve controlled both houses of congress since a year before it even began and two years before the financial crisis hit. When President Bush and Republicans tried over 20 times to reform Fannie and Freddy, warning of exactly the kind of economic disaster we had if they were not reformed, Democrats blocked them. The economy went south in response to their promises of massive tax increases, massive new spending, massive new regulation and has been unable to recover as no one knows what industry these American fascists will seize next, what massive new regulations and entitlements they will burden industry with — in short, the economy sucks because everyone with two nickles to rub together is terrified of what Democrats will do next.
Like the shirt says: “D” is for “Depression; “R” is for “Recovery”.
Vote, volunteer, and contribute to Republicans as though your country depended on it. It does.

Windmill power, tyrannical government, keeping uppity women in their place with witch trials and scarlet letters — that’s what the left considers “progress” — a return to the 17th century.
Update: Great minds think alike. Althouse observes the same tactics, and points to Democrat attempts to smear a Republican candidate who is a history buff and historical reenactor as a “Nazi” as well, because his reenactment group does not purge the Nazis from the history of WWII.

What if you held a political rally and nobody came? Despite giving out free t shirts, free entertainment, and bussing in paid union thugs, the socialist “One America” rally failed to attract anywhere near the kind of interest of recent Tea Party events. Indeed, CSPAN was so embarrassed by the pathetic turnout that they tried to pass off photos of the Glenn Beck rally as though they were pics of this failed socialist event.
In all fairness, The Daily Show‘s John Stewart and Steven Colbert will be holding another liberal rally at the end of the month, just before the election. A “Restore Sanity” rally or somesuch, which appears to mostly be a “we hate Glenn Beck” rally and will attempt to claim the mantle of “moderation” while being a rally in support of the radical left wing regime. I expect that rally will have much higher attendance than today’s did because of the celebrities and publicity. But we shall see. If that one is a flop too, it will spell utter doom for Democrats in November.
