A story from PJ Media today announced that “Joe Biden’s Handlers Want You to Cough Up $6.4 Billion to Resettle 94,000 Afghans in the U.S.“ Biden’s handlers have asked Congress for $30 billion. $23.6 billion is to deal with the devastation from Hurricane Ida and other natural disasters. But $6.4 billion goes to resettling Afghans. The U.S anticipates bringing in 64,000 Afghans by the end of the month and another 30,000 over the next 12 months. $2.4 billion will go to pay for the Defense Department’s operations where the Afghans are being held.
If I remember correctly, Joe Biden said recently that he wanted to settle them all in “swing states” where Democrat votes might be more desirable. Taxpayer money will go to transportation costs, security screenings, humanitarian assistance, public health screenings and vaccinations. “Similar benefits to refugees.” After a full year here, they will be eligible to apply to become lawful permanent residents and receive ‘green cards’
According to Pew Research Center 73% of Afghans believe that Islamic law, Sharia, is not devised by human beings, but is the perfect and unalterable law of Allah. Fully 99% of the Afghans surveyed believed Sharia should be the law of the land. They also believe it should apply to everyone, not just Muslims. 85% of Afghans endorse the punishment of stoning for adultery, amputation of the hand for theft, and 79% favor the death penalty for people who leave Islam.
We had all pretty clearly accepted the idea that Joe Biden had made a colossal mess with Afghanistan, with his open borders for illegal aliens from Central America, but we had no idea how far his sheer stupidity could go. This one is unbelievable!
