The Biden administration has just announced that it will give millions, $64 million specifically, to Taliban controlled Afghanistan. WHY? “additional humanitarian assistance for the people of Afghanistan.“ Does someone actually think that “humanitarian assistance” will actually go to the Afghan people? Can someone in our government actually be that naive? The Taliban just beheaded a couple of young, very young, men 10 or 12 years old, on general principles. “Humanitarian assistance” is not going to make them suddenly nice or cooperative. Any monetary assistance for Afghans will simply go to the Taliban.
Thousands of Afghans are now being processed and transferred to the United States. Some have been “vetted” many have not. “Processed” does not seem to necessarily include “vetting.”
We are still trying to find out how many Americans got left behind in Afghanistan, it sounds as if it is more than a thousand.
Then there is General Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who seems to have become a victim of Trump Derangement Syndrome. He somehow concluded that Trump was a vast danger to America and as Commander in Chief we had to worry about his possible surprise attack on China. He apparently had 2 routine calls with his Chinese counterpart and more than a dozen calls with NATO allies after January 6, to reassure them that the U.S. government was stable and that the U.S. did not plan a surprise attack on China.
His fever dreams were somehow confirmed by the invasion of the Capitol Building, when a number of Trump supporters toured the Capitol Building, following the red velvet ropes there to direct traffic, and frightened Congressional Democrats out of their wits. They did no damage, harmed no one, but Nancy Pelosi and her Democrat colleagues remain sure that it was an invading Trump army. Pelosi is still trying to sell that one as a revolt and an attack on Congress
Here at home. the Biden administration expects to add the Afghans they are importing to the welfare rolls. So you can pay for their food and housing and care. The welfare programs we have established were meant to help the needy among us, who needed help, not to import a bunch of foreigners from another country and add them to our already overburdened welfare system.
As I remind all of us so often, the federal government has no money of its own, every penny they decide to spend comes directly out of our pockets, in the tax rates or in the national debt they impose upon us. The Afghans come with the Islamic religion, that does not tolerate any other, nor allow anyone to disagree with their Islamic religion. They are not going to fit in easily. They get a death penalty if they give up or deny their religion.
We have absorbed many different religions, even fundamentalist ones, but this is something different, and nobody seems to be either aware or concerned about it.
AOC just appeared at the big Met Gala in a white designer gown decorated with a gigantic “Tax the Rich” slogan. Remarkably tacky. She, of course, has become “click bait”, meaning that press pieces that include something from or about her will get more attention from readers who are possibly interested in whatever her latest outrage has been.
Becoming “click bait” is not necessarily a good thing. It may mean that people are learning about the obnoxious or ignorant things you say. AOC may be “click bait”, but it also gradually exposes that she has a very large mouth, but is massively ignorant. She is not well-informed, just noisy, and seldom knows what she is talking about.

Now that General Milley admitted under questioning to Congress his speaking to the writers of the various anti Trump books and that those quotes were accurate of the then sitting president while he was in office, General Milley has committed “Conduct Unbecoming of an Officer.” A Court Marshall is required under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).
2nd charge would relate to making an unauthorized call to an enemy General pledging to subvert the orders of a Superior. This call was made without the knowledge of the Secretary of Defense.
Whether he should be charged with treason is up to the JAG to decide.
