Some clouds on the horizons, but the basic impression that the sky is actually blue is correct, and nice. In the Seattle area that old song that goes “the bluest skies you’ll ever see are in Seattle…”is just complete bunk.” The port of Seattle is just a little over 2,000 feet from the Pacific Ocean, on a large saltwater arm of the ocean. On the East side of Seattle is a very large freshwater lake, Lake Washington, for those who prefer playing in fresh water rather than saltwater. One does get very, very tired of white cloudy skies and a lack of real sunshine! We do know that there is a real sun up there behind the clouds. Just like to see a bit more of it!
