Off in the distance, say10 or more blocks away, it’s smoky, which indicates more forest fires in the Cascade Mountains. I’ll check in with the Forest Service to find out where. Also, far off in the Southwest sky there is a twinkling light. There seems to be no reason for it, no plane there. Just a mystery. One would think that forest fires are news and people want to be informed, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.Perhaps I’m just odd worrying about such things. First thing I want to know when I get up, but that may just be my heritage. If I find out where the fires are, I’ll let you know. Do you care?
I just wrote to the Forest Service to tell them that we would appreciate more information. Like and respect the U.S. Forest Service,but believe they need to to let us know what’s happening. We may seem like uninterested city people, but that’s not really accurate. I’ll keep looking for more information Had no idea it would be so difficult! I’ll try contacting Okanogan.
